Are we still open and the latest advice

As of yesterday, March 24, and following the latest advice from the government, we have scaled down our services to prioritize the essential and urgent healthcare needs of the community.
This means with immediate effect we are unable to offer routine appointments and have been advised to only admit patients by appointment and only for essential and urgent eye care.

Practically, this means the first line of contact will be via telephone, as this will allow us to discuss your symptoms and needs in order to judge whether an appointment is necessary. We will attempt to keep the practice open Monday to Friday 9.00 to 4.00 to offer these remote consultations and to answer any questions you may have about your ongoing eye care needs. Please do phone, whatever the level of concern, we are here to help.

Just to make clear, we cannot see a patient if:
  • they are showing symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who has. Again if this applies to you do still phone and we will do our best to help and direct you according to the latest guidelines
Outside the above hours we will do our best to monitor comments from the form on our website contact page and get back to you
